Prof. Dr. Mariyam Jameelah Ghazali

Prof. Dr. Mariyam Jameelah Ghazali is currently the Assistant Dean (Entrepreneurship & Creativity) of Faculty of Engineering and Built Environment, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). She graduated with a bachelor and master degree from Universiti Sains Malaysia in the field of Materials Engineering, and received her PhD (Engineering Materials) from University of Sheffield, United Kingdom (July 2005). Her research focuses on wear of materials, surface engineering and materials processing. In academic publication, she published over 200 articles and books. She is also the co-founder of Malaysia Tribology Society (MyTribos) and currently serving as Vice-president (Malaysia), Asian Tribology Council from 2020-2023.
